Responsibilities:
Development and maintenance of Ruby, Flex, or Java software for Collective Media's AMP platform UI
Work with product manager, client services, and operations to design implement new features
Work with data engineering, Adserving, and QA teams on integration, testing and production release.
Provide production support
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree or minimum 5 years of development experience in commercial software.
Minimum of 1 year experience with Adobe Flex / AS3 using MVC framework (Pure MVC or Cairngorm) or Ruby
Minimum of 2 years experience with Java, Ruby, PHP or C
3 years development experience building commercial or open source software
Must have 1 year of database design experience (MySQL, PostgresSQL highly preferred)
Must have 24/7 availability for troubleshooting support
Knowledge of browser-side client technologies including AJAX, CSS, Javascript, cross-browser compatibility issues, optimization techniques and internationalization issues.
Preferred:
Strong UI design skills
Development experience in an online adserving environment
Experience working with a product development or client services team.
