Front-end Developers

Mimeo is building an expert team of developers to build new products and features using our MimeoConnect platform. We need front-end development engineers who can build responsive and elegant web UIs with AJAX and similar technologies.

In this role, you'll not only be responsible for software development, but also work closely with Product Management to develop and test new products and features. Ideal candidates are experienced developers who also understand UX Development and aren't afraid to voice their opinions in a collaborative team environment. They are front-end development engineers who can build responsive and elegant web UIs with AJAX and similar technologies. The technologies are new and cutting edge so both talented early-career candidates and seasoned veterans are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities:

• Interpret visual designs in HTML/CSS/Javascript
• Leverage a REST-based API to power asynchronous embedded UI elements
• Develop reusable JavaScript libraries and components with a well-defined and documented API
• Contribute features and functionality to server-side interfaces
• Troubleshoot, test and modify existing client software

Required Skills and Experience:

• AJAX/HTML/CSS experience and an interest in user interface design.
• Object-oriented JavaScript skills.
• Some experience with server-side technologies such as .NET/ASP, PHP and/or Java
• Knowledge of one or more client-side UI frameworks such as JQueryUI, script.aculo.us, YUI (etc) a plus
• Experience working on cross-browser platforms
• Ability to work with Flex/Flash a plus
• Computer Science degree or equivalent work experience required
