About the Role:Sailthru's Front End Developer will help us develop our PHP and Javascript front-end framework to enable us to move quickly, handle scale, and implement new features as they are designed. We have a clear vision for our product for the coming year, and want someone that can help lay the foundation to accelerate our team?s development. We work with cutting edge Javascript libraries out there to enable seamless navigation and data visualization of massive user analytics data sets! In addition you?ll:
Take ownership of and having impact on the front-end engineering + new features of the product.
Work on HARD problems - finding visualization, coding efficient frameworks and implementing UX paradigms for displaying insights from massive data sets.
Code a framework that will help support multiple mediums, tablets, web, phone, etc.

Lay the foundation for our other front-end engineers to be able to produce work as quickly and elegantly as possible.
About You:
Fundamental understanding of programming concepts, and web stacks
Strong PHP + Javascript expertise.
MVC Framework, Web Services and API design is important. This includes knowledge of Apache setup etc.
Basic knowledge of how to profile, and optimize/refactor PHP + JS code.
Use of Git, and having worked in team development environments.
Added bonus if you have:
Have some knowledge of Java (you won?t be writing any, but it?s useful to know since the APIs the other internal teams develop are in Java).
Experience with HTML 5 + CSS 3
Contributed to existing framework code-bases (e.g Cake, Symfony, Rails, etc.), or have been integral in rolling your own framework at another company/ your own project.
