Position Purpose
The Web Developer will work with the software development team to design and implement the web apps for Chime.Inâs next-generation social platform.
Â
Key Position Accountabilities and Outcomes:
- Researching, evaluating, designing and writing rich, web based applications for desktop and mobile browser
- Works closely with product managers and project managers, QAs, developers to ensure programs meet expectations.
- Ability to execute in Agile based software development methodology
- Experience with the following web technologies: HTML5, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS3, jQuery, Ajax
- Demonstrable experience developing commercially available web sites and web applications; no corporate intranet web programmers please
- Demonstrable strength in JavaScript fundamentals
- Experience developing mobile friendly web sites, with experience handling varieties of mobile browser platforms such as Android, iPhone, and iPad a huge plus
- Experience with working with Linux/Ubuntu
- Experience in Ruby integrating with REST APIs a plus
- Experience with Rally and Agile development a plus
