What you will be doing:
Work with customers, business leads, and designers to create user interfaces that are cutting edge and easy-to-use for consumers.
Understand the needs of the business and inform management of functional design and schedule tradeoffs.
Perform peer design and code reviews
Work closely with the QA team and find ways to make product testing easier.
Identify and resolve system and software issues in a timely manner.
Be forward-thinking and help improve the usability, functionality, and quality of the user experience
What we look for:
BS in CS or equivalent industry experience
Knowledge of user interface design principles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Expertise creating highly scalable, fast performing, responsive design for multiple delivery
channel (ie. Web, Tablet, etc.)
Expertise in web related technologies including but not limited to CSS 3, HTML5, AJAX
JSON, and CMS such as Adobe CQ
Demonstrated background that shows a mastery of new tools as they become available
(Closure, ImpactJS etc.)
Good understanding of front end frameworks such as Twitter Bootstrap
Expert organization and time management skills
Experience with business and management principles involved in resource allocation,
leadership techniques and coordination of people and resources.
Knowledge of digital media & web site production, communication and dissemination
techniques and methods.
Ability to plan, execute and evaluate prototypes
Critical thinking and logical reasoning skills
Ability to work in a collaborative and geographically diverse environment
Ability to manage people and processes, including vendors and contractor
Server side development experience a plus
Design background a plus
