We?re looking for an engineer with rock-solid JavaScript/HTML/CSS/image production skills to work on building new features for Digg.com (desktop and mobile web) as well as internal tools that help power Digg.
The fine print
2+ years of front end development experience
You can take a layered PSD and build pixel-perfect pages
Excellent CSS and JS cross-browser debugging skills (IE7+ and "modern browsers")
Familiarity with two or more of the following: AMD, client-side MVC, observer pattern, organizing code for a large-scale JS application, CSS media queries, web performance best practices, HTML email templates
Digg is built in Python and the Tornado web framework, so comfort with these and working from the command line is a huge plus
Engineer / Technologist ? Apply
We?re looking for a technologist with experience building large-scale/large-data web applications. We?d like you to build the internal and external APIs that will power new features for Digg. Experience building social applications is ideal. Experience with Python is a must.

3+ years experience developing web-based applications/sites using Python
Experience with building REST/JSON APIs
Familiarity with one or more of the following: redis, memcache, nginx, tornado, hadoop, mongo, mysql
Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3)
BS/MS in Computer Science preferred
