Responsibilities
Work closely with product managers, design team and other engineers to implement user facing features on the Prosper.com website
Create clean, maintainable, cross-browser compatible code from mockups
Implement highly responsive front end functionality using jquery, javascript and ajax
Keep up with evolving web standards and best practices including HTML5 & CSS3
Facilitate SEO, usability, conversion and AB testing initiatives
Required Experience
Expert knowledge of HTML/CSS standards and cross browser compatibility
Excellent JavaScript foundation and JQuery experience
CSS2.1 and CSS3
Some backend coding experience a plus
Google Analytics a plus
Familiarity with ASP.NET a plus
Enthusiasm, ideas and suggestions
Experience with a content management system
Proficiency with Fireworks, Photoshop or related tools
Position
Downtown San Francisco (next to Montgomery Muni/BART station)
