Front-End Vertical Stack Engineer (Javascript, Node.js, D3.js) Metamarkets
We're searching for Vertical Stack Engineers to join the team behind our analytics dashboard (http://dash.metamx.com/wikipediaeditstream/signup). Your responsibilities will span the client and application server side of the product. On the client-side they will include development of the navigational interface, data visualizations, and overall user experience for our clients. On the server-side, responsibilities include integrating with a service-oriented backend, maintaining user sessions and the like.
You should be fluent in Javascript and its quirks, well-versed in HTML5 and CSS standards, and lean towards the pragmatic. A passion for the display of quantitative information, such as financial, biomedical, or other time series data, is a plus. We are looking for people of all experience levels, but first and foremost we are looking for smart people who want to work in a job that is centered entirely around Javascript.
All applicants must be able to work on site.
