Front End Web Developer Construction Software Technologies

Position Purpose:
We are looking for a top-quality developer who is passionate about design and the user
experience: Design, implement, test, and maintain high volume, dynamic web applications. We are
looking for a JavaScript expert to take a prominent role on a 20+ person development team. If you enjoy
creating polished fit & finished user experience applications this is the opportunity for you This position
requires a strong attention to detail and you will work directly with our product team to create the user
experience. You will be working in a SCRUM team in an agile environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Work with domain experts to translate business requirements into high quality working software.
Add new scalable features and functions for a large number of concurrent users
Apply modern usability concepts and best practices to create intuitive applications with simple
workflows
Develop new features using JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
Assist in special projects as needed
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Experience working with JavaScript, HTML and CSS
Experience with JavaScript frameworks (especially ExtJS, node.JS, etc)
Research and application of new technologies and development tools
Other valued skills include:
Development experience in an Agile/Scrum environment
Experience with HTML5, CSS3
BDD (Behavior Driven Development) and TDD (Test Driven Development) using testing
frameworks such as Jasmine, QUnit, etc.
Experience in coordinating usability testing and reporting results from such testing
Experience with software version control systems
Mobile platform development experience
Team leadership experience
Working in a SaaS (Software as a Service) business environment
Experience and Educational Requirements:
Experience in web development using above technologies
Minimum 2 year degree in computer science.
Four-year degree preferred
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Sits at a desk for long periods of time
