Responsibilities:
? Front page editors at Bleacher Report are billed with providing and programming the most real-time and engaging sports content on the Web.
? Setting the tone, look and feel of bleacherreport.com.
? News monitoring
? Swift editorial response and decision making.
? Programming
? Timely and clean stylized hook writing.
Required skills/experience:
? We?re looking for a sports fanatic and news junkie who knows how to find and program engaging sports content. Take a look at our homepage for an example of the type of content we try to surface and create. bleacherreport.com
? High level social/mobile media understanding. Candidate should have high proficiency using Twitter, Facebook, smartphones and tablet devices. Checking blogs, monitoring major sports sites, and following sports media personalities on Twitter are all examples of activities an ideal candidate would perform on a daily basis.
? Possess strong writing and communication skills. Editing skills/experience is a plus; formal editing background is not required but a keen eye for punctuation and grammar is important.
? Candidate should be familiar with basic photo editing.
? Undergraduate degree in Journalism, English, Marketing/Advertising, or Communication is preferred.

? Must be comfortable with a flexible work schedule, as the sports world never sleeps.
