Frontend Software Engineer Gorilla Nation

The Company:
Gorilla Nation is the world's largest online ad sales rep firm. We exclusively represent over 500 leading web publishers and offer integrated media and promotional programs to Fortune 500 brand advertisers.

Duties and Responsibilities:
This position may include some or all of the following:

As a member of the Pebblebed publishing product team, develop, maintain, and optimize premiere websites such as CraveOnline.com, SuperHeroHype.com and TheFashionSpot.com
Responsible for troubleshooting application related issues and ensuring/maintaining high performance and browser compatibility.
Ensuring that owned and operated websites implement SEO best practices to increase search traffic

Required Skills:

Experience utilizing standards-compliant markup and CSS.
Experience utilizing Javascript and/or jQuery.
Experience utilizing XML to create dynamic applications.
Experience working with content management systems, especially Joomla.
Desire to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Ability to communicate in both technical and user-friendly language.

Desired Skills:

Web design experience in Photoshop / Illustrator
Familiar with UI and UX best practices
Experience with digital advertising
Experience with version control systems, SVN preferred.
Some experience with Scrum, Lean or Agile product development.
BS in Computer Science or related field.
