We're seeking a front end software engineer to push our user experience forward. In collaboration with product managers and team lead, our front end software engineers work to deliver data to the browser and capture user interaction in a compelling, intelligent, and efficient manner. Front end engineers extend the functionality of our products and work to eliminate deficiencies in the current release.The successful candidate will:
have significant experience with next-generation markup languages including one of haml or sass;
have strong opinions regarding responsive design, design methodologies, and design via bitmap (e.g., Photoshop);
work with the other team members to understand technical and business requirements
collaborate to set achievable goals and time-lines
write JS, HTML, CSS/Sass, and PHP code to implement features and bug-fixes
deploy the application to both testing and production environments; and
work with testing engineers to establish appropriate automated test plans
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in computer science or electrical engineering, or equivalent
at least 2 years of experience writing frontend solutions;
substantial Linux-based development experience; and
excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
