Fuel Cell Test Engineer Acumentrics

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Support manufacturing and product development by evaluating fuel cell subassemblies and complete products.

- Operate and monitor fuel cell systems,

- Configure and debug fuel cell systems

- Perform regular testing, calibration and maintenance on test area equipment

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Data reduction and analysis, and preparation of summary reports

- Collection of gas samples and performing gas chromatograph analysis

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Hands on skills in mechanical and electronic test set-up

Strong technical communication skills, both verbal and written

Broad technical knowledge of energy systems and practical operations experience



EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

BS or Greater Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering or equivalent discipline

1+ years experience in facility related engineering, safety, or equivalent.

Experience in laboratory testing and interfacing mechanical parts with electrical controls

Fundamental chemistry knowledge is desirable.

Experience with fuel cell operation and design would be an advantage.
