Fuel Processing Engineer ClearEdge Power
ClearEdge Power is looking for a highly motivated individual to join Fuel processing system (FPS) group. The individual will be responsible for specifying, developing, designing, testing and troubleshooting of fuel processing catalytic reactors for hydrogen production. Job responsibilities also include development and analysis activities associated with fuel clean up such as sulfur removal, reducing CO and NH3 from reformer exhaust to fuel cell tolerable levels.
The individual will be responsible for supporting a wide variety of fuel processing development activities across different fuel cell products. Effectively work with management on defining and executing product development roadmap, standard work methodologies and fuel processing model capabilities.
BS, MS or Ph.D in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
Experience / Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years practical hands on working experience in fuel processing
Must be able to work with suppliers, manufacturing and test engineering
Provide production support as necessary
Excellent communication skills
Ability to lead teams
Knowledge of different reforming techniques such as catalystic steam reforming, catalytic partial oxidation, autothermal reforming, water gas shift and desulfurization techniques
Knowledge of pressure swing absorption is a plus
Knowledge of modeling programs such as ASPEN, HYSYS and FORTRAN
Demonstrated leadership skills
