As Game Designer at Z2Live, you must be an experienced, well-rounded, designer with expertise in multiple sub-disciplines of design. The ideal candidate will be an intelligent and critical thinker, with a deep passion for game design, who enjoys helping others improve their craft.
Experience:
You should have a background in system design, and be able to create fun gameplay mechanics that drive real social engagement
You will work closely with user testing & analytics to develop a frictionless & friendly new user experience
You will help define and expand the design for an innovative, highly social freemium game on multiple platforms
You can quickly prototype, tune and iterate on pacing, tutorial, progression and reward mechanics
Bachelors Degree required
1+ year of experience in mobile/social game development (freemium)
4+ years of game design experience
Have shipped multiple commercial games (in a game design role)
Extraordinary communication skills
Able to work with engineers, artists, designers, businesspeople, management, and ?speak the language?
Able to make, then learn from, your mistakes
Able to deliver extraordinary amounts of important work properly scoped for time & budget
Has a deep, passionate love of games
