The Department
Manufacturing/Production â€" One of the most critical needs we now have at SpaceX is for Manufacturing/Production engineers. With two vehicles flight proven, we have a $3 billion backlog of sold flights. The next critical phase is proving our ability to build rockets with increasing speed while maintaining quality in order to meet the markets high demand. We are looking to add manufacturing engineers throughout the company.
Technicians and Trade Skills â€" SpaceX is continuing to build our highly skilled technician and trades workforce; the extensive in house development and production capabilities at SpaceX would not be possible without their contributions. If you enjoy hands-on development work in and thrive in a fast paced environment, you could make a great addition to our team.
Responsibilities
- General clean-up and maintenance of work areas
- Moving heavy equipment
- Driving forklifts
- Miscellaneous tasks as directed
- Must adhere to proper safety guidelines at all times
- High school Diploma or GED
- Construction, Mechanical, or Manufacturing background is a plus
- Must be hands on person willing to do anything
- Self-motivated and works well with others
- Must be able to drive forklift
- Must be physically capable of performing manual labor tasks (Lift 50 lbs. from the floor)
- Ability to work while standing on lifts and ladders
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing facility
