Job Description :SynQor is looking to fill the position of General Ledger Accountant working within our Finance Group.
This individual will be the team lead in period-ending closings and will prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Consolidation of subsidiary trial balances and month-end closings;
- Maintenance of fixed assets database:
- Assistance in year-end audit processes;
- Filing of various government compliance requirements; and
- Various accounting related assignments and projects.
Job Requirements :
Requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting;
- 3+ years of GL experience in a manufacturing environment;
- Knowledge of FASB ASC 810 and 830;
- Strong communication and analytical skills;
- Research and priority setting ability; and
- Proficiency in MS Office 2007 and ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
- Previous experience within a high tech environment is a plus.
