Job Description:General Manager ?Lab/Business Development
Genoa Healthcare LLC operates on-premise pharmacies for mental health community in the United States. It also offers services, such as application and dispensing processes for patient assistance programs; management of sample medication programs; phlebotomy services; medicaid, HMO, medicare part D, and insurance company billings; and online access to dispensed medication records and patient profiles. The company was founded in 2002 and is based in Tukwila, Washington with an administration office in Eagan, Minnesota. Because of this unique position, and because of our historic role in managing blood work for individuals on clozapine, we are excited to announce the expansion of our services with Genoa Healthcare Clinical Laboratory!
We are looking for a General Manager who will fulfill the responsibilities of running a lab in addition to building relationships and establishing accounts. Key responsibilities include:
Coordinate with Regional Pharmacy Operations Managers and PIC?s an integrated pharmacy/lab model at each location
Oversee account set up with our customers (clinics/homes) and training for their staff to work with our lab
Determine third party payer contracting needs and coordinate with Genoa Contracting to facilitate applications
Analyze and recommend expansion opportunities for additional lab testing equipment and ROI for those services
Track billing of lab services and manage our billing services provider to ensure timely payments
the roll out of the lab services across the country
Determining area delivery service providers (where needed)
Determining staffing needs across the country for lab services (phlebotomists)
Review of lab P/L
Evaluate and procure supply agreements for lab supplies (phlebotomist supplies)
Setting up workflow for phlebotomists at local and remote sites
Train phlebotomists/pharmacy personnel/sales people on how to sell the lab service
Attend lab related meetings/conventions
Track OSHA requirements companywide (Hepatitis vaccine offered, etc.)
Set standards for daily work output (draw/day)
Position resides in MN.
Reports to the COO
Required experience:
? Be available to travel up to 70%
? Must have a Business Degree with a strong business acumen
? Pior management experience required
? National experience is preferred
? Prior experience implementing a Disease Management Program
? Experience maintaining a budget
