Supervises: Worldwide PAC? Business Development, Design and Applications in the Asia, US, and Europe
Fast-growing Analog Semiconductor pre-IPO company focused on Analog Power & Programmable Analog ICs is looking for a highly motivated, hands-on, and experienced Product Line Manager to lead our Worldwide Team. Manage the PAC product line and a team of Application, Systems, and Firmware Development Engineers. Additionally will work with our Sales, Development, Operations & Finance Teams to coordinate customer design-ins/wins and deliveries. Help drive our company aggressively towards a successful IPO on NASDAQ. Be part of the Leadership Team who presents to investment bankers and investors for the IPO.

Primary and Major Responsibilities:
Build a profitable, high growth business with Active-Semi Power Application Controller product line thus meeting both revenue and budget plan objectives
Hands-on Project/Program Management execution
Lead and systematically drive the go-to-market strategy and execution efforts across organization functions
Ensure on-going alignment with development priorities and disciplined Product Development Team follow through & decision making
Manage Software/Hardware development in areas such as priorities, resource staging, version control, contracts, royalties, etc.
System solution focused with working knowledge of analog power ICs and microcontroller ICs topologies, thus being able to convincingly present winning solutions to end customers, sales, and partners
Conduct/maintain relevant market analysis which in turn guides market requirements document (MRD) development, roadmap priorities, and key customer engagement targets
Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to validate new product definitions for new PAC ICs to achieve successful design wins with tier-1 customers
Interface and collaborate with Operations and Sales teams to provide operational planning to ensure smooth delivery to customers
Help define new reference designs, evaluation kits, and development platforms to demonstrate our features and differentiation to customers as well as fostering the ?maker community? movement.
Monitor competition, maintain competitive analysis and create actionable positioning collateral
Attract and hire talented design, application and system engineers in all regions.
Develop technical talent through coaching and mentoring
Work with HR on hiring, promotions, performance feedback, disciplinary actions and terminations
Report directly to the CEO and work closely with him to achieve maximum alignment and performance
Qualifications & Pre-requisites:
At least 15 years of relevant experience as a Product Line Manager with 5 years managing at least 10+ Engineers in US & International locations
Must be Solutions/System minded versus IC Hardware focused
Proven success in hardware + software product businesses in the following applications:
Motor Control Systems
Digital Controlled Power Electronic Systems
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
Able to prioritize tasks/projects into a logical sequence of events and be able to make realistic plans based on the required tasks and target deadlines
Ability to form and implement a product roadmap
Experience with product development flow-from customer pains/needs, spec definition, product development, qualification, production ramp, quality issues and end-of-life
Experience in managing and working with various team sizes and customers in US & Asia in a multicultural environment
Ability to build, lead, manage, and influence teams
Must have excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills in order to interact with all levels inside and outside of the company
Must be detailed oriented while empowering others
Significant international travel required (20%+ of time should be in Asia)
