Complex Media is currently seeking a qualified candidate to join its Marketing Web Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for development and maintenance of Publisher facing web applications and internal reporting tools for Complex Media and its partners.
Our ideal candidate is team player who enjoys coding and comes up with the new ideas on a regular basis. The candidate will report to a Team Lead and work with Product Managers, developers, designers and engineers to create elegant solutions for our business and clients needs.
Involved in all aspects of the application development lifecycle: idea, development, QA, documentation, implementation, etc.
Development, maintenance, troubleshooting and enhancements of the existing Web applications and reporting tools.
Adhere to project schedules and effectively report progress to meet challenging deadlines.
Stay knowledgeable of the industry standards and trends.
2+ years of experience in Web development and production.
Hands on knowledge of PHP (MVC, OOP), MYSQL.
Hands on knowledge of JSON/REST/XML/SOAP Web Services.
Experience with IDE development tools, version control systems (GitHub, SVN, CVS).
Experience with Agile product development environment.
Nice to haves:
Experience with Data mining and Data warehousing techniques and tools.
Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel (huge plus) or Zend.
Experience with data storage solutions such as MongoDB, Redis and/or others.
Experience with of any JS MVC framework (ie: Node.js, Backbone.js, AngularJS, MeteorJS, etc).
