DriveCam is currently recruiting for a Generalist, Human Capital who will be responsible for partnering with the rest of the Human Capital team to build a market-leading, enduring company, with a culture of excellence, through its people.
The successful candidate will have HR generalist experience, but must also have experience sourcing talent. The Generalist will have a broad range of HR responsibilities managing the day-to-day operations of DriveCam?s administration of the HR policies, procedures and programs, with a focus on talent sourcing. The Generalist will also carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development.
Job Skills / Requirements:
Talent Sourcing and Onboarding
Talent sourcing and onboarding is a key focus for the position. The successful candidate will professionally manage the talent sourcing lifecycle from end-to-end for both the full-time and contingent workforce, including:
Manage the Applicant Tracking System. Experience with JobVite, big plus.
Directly source and hire most positions and work with outside recruiters when necessary.
Manage recruitment strategy, including but not limited to, determining appropriate recruiting sources for advertising and posting positions and networking.
Partner with team members to build out a Social Networking strategy
First level screening of resumes on behalf of managers and coordinate interview process
Manage offer process, including preparation of offer letter and accompanying documents, oversee background check process and other pre-hire activities
Promote DriveCam image to candidates and external service providers.
Develop networks of people and processes to support a strong pipeline of qualified candidates
Develop and manage onboarding program that ensures new hire?s positive and effective assimilation into the DriveCam culture.
Facilitation of new hire orientation.
HR Functions
Partner with the Human Capital team to build a world class HR function.
Address day-to-day employee inquiries regarding HR matters
Administer benefit programs, including manage annual open enrollment process.
Assist in the design and review benefit programs that utilize an employee and company partnership focused on the health and welfare of the employees.
Manage confidential employee data, including maintenance of employee headcount reports and contingent workforce reports
Assist in the implementation of an integrated talent management system to ensure focus on business goals, development of employee capabilities and career potential, aligned reward systems and retention of talent
Maintain company-wide organization charts
Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 report annually; maintains other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations
Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed
Complete special projects by clarifying project objective; coordinating stakeholders, setting timetables and schedules; executing on action items
Managing off-boarding process, employee changes of status, transfers for employees
Support initiatives of the Human Capital department
May assist with immigration process and administration as required.
Trusted Presence and Caretaker
Be the caretaker of the Company?s DNA with particular emphasis on ethics, integrity and diversity.
Create an open communications environment where employees desire to approach HR as a first step in any employee-related matter (e.g., issues, career pursuits, management concerns, etc.)
Requirements, Qualifications and Competencies:
Possess an energetic, positive and innovative attitude with high ethical standards and integrity.
Ability to relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication skills.
Possess a strategic focus as well as an operational, and detail oriented perspective.
Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
Ability to present on complex topics to employee groups, management at all levels of the company.
Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including eligibility and enrollment rules, and benefit procedures in order to ensure correct implementation.
Knowledge of Federal and California employment laws.
Ability to develop and implement recruiting & selection procedures such as identifying job competencies, writing job descriptions, and creating onboarding plans for new hires & transfers.
Demonstrated ability to be a proactive problem solver adept at working in a team-oriented and highly collaborative environment, but also able to function independently
Ability to execute on implementation strategies.
Exhibit sound and accurate judgment and make timely decisions.
Possess strong work flow management and prioritization skills.
Education & Experience
Bachelor?s degree in business administration, HR management, or related discipline or equivalent knowledge and experience required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced knowledge of Excel.
3-5+ years of experience in the field.
PHR/SPHR a plus
