We are seeking an Acquisition Specialist to aid in the execution of world-class online marketing programs and provide analysis and insight to inform our acquisition and engagement efforts. We?re looking for someone with a strong analytical background, a passion for marketing and ability to synthesize key concepts in a fast-paced, startup environment. This position will be part of Gilt City?s Online Marketing Team and presents a great opportunity to work on both the tactical, day-to-day and more long-term, strategic elements of a marketing program.
Responsibilities:
Execute on SEM strategies for Gilt City and manage the delivery of most of these projects
Analyze of various performance metrics to identify issues and areas of opportunity at a site
Implement changes to display advertising campaigns and work closely with external agencies to ensure alignment to corporate goals.
Manage testing to optimize landing pages and develop new member experiences
Participate in the execution of our mobile marketing programs
Develop reporting and presentations for executive management
Qualifications:
3-5 years of SEM/SEO marketing, direct marketing and related strategy work including campaign development and performance analyses
Understanding of key SEM/SEO concepts, interfaces and tools
Familiarity with online display tactics and management tools
Proven ability as a self-starter who can develop and manage impactful projects
Demonstrated ability in analyzing and interpreting complex data including using advanced Excel (e.g., pivot tables, complex formulas, statistical analysis)
Proven ability to manage projects to successful completion, multi-task and work within tight deadlines
Excellent interpersonal skills, including extremely strong written and verbal communication skill
