Stratus is currently seeking a Global Channel Marketing Manager with the ability to tie the big picture together across all functions to drive our channel business growth.
The Global Channel Marketing Manager is responsible, at a global level, for supporting the definition of the channel marketing strategy including integrated channel marketing program creation, execution, and consistent measurement in close cooperation with corporate and geography partner stakeholders.
This high-energy, hands-on marketing professional will support existing partners and expand into prospective channel organizations through ISV, OEM and VAR partnerships. Must have a proven track record of increasing market presence and driving revenue growth through worldwide resellers, integration and distribution partners.
The Channel Marketing Manager will develop and deliver multi-touch programs working with and through their channel sales team. This position will lead the development, launch and coordination of joint channel GTM and marketing programs to drive Stratus solutions sales in the channel.
As an individual contributor, the Channel Marketing Manager will juggle multiple tasks and interface within numerous areas of a matrixed organization to influence and promote Stratus products and alliance solutions into the channel. The Channel Marketing Manager will work closely with these organizations to understand Stratus? growth strategies and create programs to ensure successful demand generation campaigns that reach the channel?s contribution to revenue growth areas.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and execute integrated marketing approaches and campaigns to facilitate the attainment of channel revenue goals
Develop and implement integrated channel programs and initiatives to directly and materially impact channel partner success and revenue growth
Develop integrated channel marketing programs that enable a partner-led approach throughout the channel partner?s prospect engagement cycle
Develop and implement initiatives and programs to build pipeline and revenue by integrating existing assets and programs into managed channel partners? demand generation activities
Manage quarterly promotion launch including updates to battle cards, sales collateral and partner portal
Work in close coordination with geography partner marketing and sales staff to develop effective channel activities and programs
Generate regular communications, updates and presentations/webinars on quarterly program plans, monthly channel marketing plans, and campaign results.
Qualifications & Experience:
BS/BA required, MBA preferred ? 7+ years experience in high tech environment, preferably within the continuous availability or HA/Virtualization industry. Knowledge of hybrid cloud, software, data center and end user computing a plus
Strong channel partnership development skills and experience
Solid understanding and experience in working with partnerships in a ?meet in the channel? model
Extensive experience working with OEM relationships and taking those partnerships to market
Proven track record of planning, building and executing successful and innovative, integrated channel marketing programs
Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional teams to achieve success through influence rather than direct authority
Demand Generation Program management experience including result reporting
Ability to identify programmatic needs and gaps, drive strategy and influence change
Ability to collaborate, communicate and manage in a highly matrixed organization that operates across multiple time zones
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, presentation skills and the ability to be effective over several communication vehicles (phone, web, email, social media etc.)
Experience managing creative agencies, budgets and strong negotiation skills
Knowledge of messaging and value proposition development
Strong experience developing demand generation campaigns done jointly w/ through channel partners
Experience working with channel partners, with proven success in channel marketing required
Must have strong, proven track record of working closely with sales with ability to implement programs that directly support the development and productivity of channel partner revenue growth
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills; understanding of international markets and channels required
Understanding of closed loop marketing processes that demonstrates ROI through supplier to partner, partner to customer and supplier to end user demand generation and awareness programs
