The Role:
The Global Channel Marketing Manager will be instrumental in driving revenue through our B2B channel partners worldwide. This role requires an experienced marketer with an understanding of channel marketing programs, especially those aimed at increasing channel engagement and sell-through. You will be directly responsible for all joint sales & marketing programs across the entire lifecycle including program positioning & messaging, sales training, launch planning, event management, promotions, and all product marketing in partner channels. You must have high energy and be able to multi-task and communicate exceedingly well. Travel is required.
Responsibilities:
Develop, design, implement and measure all channel marketing activity to drive measurable growth through partner channels.
Manage and monitor execution of all channel-marketing programs, working closely with the channel partners as well as the marketing, sales, and business development teams.
Responsible for partner communications: crafting and sending partner communications on an ongoing basis.
Execute partner events, conferences, trainings and meetings.
Responsible for content management for the channel activity including website, landing pages, collateral, etc.
Serve as the first point of contact for partner questions.
Responsible for advocating and defining product requirements for the channel (represent concerns/requirements of the channel partners), and for developing the product launch plan for anything new to the channel
Evaluate program opportunities based on consistency with overall business goals and marketing strategy, as well as the financial ROI, brand synergy, potential impact/visibility, and execution requirements.
Design and implement measurements to quantify revenue generated from programs executed in the channel.
Evaluate and measure current processes, and where necessary, establish more efficient and consistent ones.
Evangelize and champion channel mission, purpose, and needs internally.
Commission and coordinate channel marketing research to understand customer and partner needs.
Requirements:
Minimum 5-7 years Channel Marketing experience, preferably global experience.
Strong understanding of Channel marketing and overall marketing concepts
Proven track record in leading and working effectively with cross-functional teams, including the marketing, product, operations, and finance.
Strong writing skills are imperative.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, teamwork, presentation, and project
management skills required.
Innovator with the ability to influence staff and management at all levels
(internally and externally).
Experience/familiarity with graphic design tools and commercial printing preferred
