Global Commodity Manager:
The Global Commodity Manager is responsible for all aspects of the FireEye commodity management, as well as strategic supplier management.
Establish the sourcing strategy for technologies and strategic components.
Influence supplier and component selection for new products, to support the overall corporate strategy.
Drive cost reductions with strategic relationship management.
Maintain a high level of industry expertise and supplier/market conditions.
Manage supplier performance, and team expectations, by driving suppliers to meet committed service level agreements.
Understand all elements of product cost, validate supplier quotes, and clearly articulate cost drivers, and cost reduction/avoidance activities.
Develop and conduct regular cross-functional roadmap reviews to ensure supplier commitment to our roadmap.
Ensure support from NPI through EOL
Demonstrated industry experience with both commercial and technical expertise.
Broad range of commodity experience including storage, memory, processors, mechanicals, power, ODM cards, etc.
Commodity Management experience to support OEM, ODM, JDM, as well as internal design products in an outsourced manufacturing setting.
Demonstrated ability to design/develop a strategic sourcing strategy.
Managing, monitoring, and communicating progress and parameters to team members and stakeholders.
Partner and Vendor management experience.
Supply Chain and Material Management experience.
Ability to communicate and influence cross-functionally to achieve program results.
Minimum of 10 years Commodity Management experience with BA/BS or equivalent. MBA preferred.
