Digital Signal Corporation is seeking a Global Mobility Manager for our Chantilly, VA office.
Due to our significant global expansion, we are searching for a candidate that has strong global mobility experience. The Global Mobility Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership to include international assignment compensation and benefit programs. This person will be abreast of trends in the international market and provide guidance relative to progressive compensation and benefits practices to attract and retain the right talent. This position has Program and Operational responsibilities related to Global Mobility. The Global Mobility Manager reports to the Sr. Director of HR.
Develops and directs the delivery of international compensation processes, procedures and activities such as international assignment allowance compensation and review and oversight of third country national assignment packages. Serves as project manager for global mobility and oversees U.S. immigration program.
Works closely with outside immigration counsel in preparing appropriate immigration cases e.g. F-1, H1B, PERM, green card cases, etc.
Develop and improve the policies and procedures of the mobility process to meet DSC?s business needs.
Provide mobility-related expertise, consultation and cost estimates for expatriate, local national, third country national and international business travel assignments.
Partner with HR, Accounting, and Legal on global mobility related programs and projects.
Manage and coordinate day to day operations and relationships with external vendors.
Ensure the delivery of services provided by external vendors is efficient and transparent to ensure complete satisfaction for new hires and transferees.
Develop and administer methods to track and measure ROI.
Identify opportunities to build know-how and leverage best practices for continuous improvement on Global Mobility.
Conduct benchmarking and regular research, consult with strategic leadership and make recommendation to ensure the alignment of compensation and benefits programs to global strategic directions. Influence when major adjustment to design and approach are needed to stay ahead of emerging needs/trends.
Develops programs to educate leaders, managers and staff on compensation programs to reinforce the organization?s culture in our compensation and benefits? programs.
Design and develop new market entry strategies (e.g. locally compliant HR and payroll programs) to enable and support DSC?s global expansion.
Ensure adherence to corporate compliance, legal and regulatory standards
Bachelor degree and 10 years of progressive HR experience. The ability to provide leadership in the design, development and implementation of comprehensive compensation and benefit strategies
Experience managing global locally compliant HR programs. English fluency required. Proficiency in French and/or Arabic preferred.
Experience with international employment law and benefits law. Specific experience pertaining to these matters in Europe, Middle East and Latin America is strongly desirable.
Knowledge of labor market trends.
Strong business, analytical, prioritization, and project management skills.
Good understanding of cross-cultural issues and a strong team spirit.
Must exhibit sound judgment and the ability to handle confidential matters.
