ABOUT THE POSITION
An energetic payroll professional is needed to serve ExactTarget?s growing employee population. The Global Payroll Analyst administers ExactTarget?s domestic and international payroll processes.
This person must be team-oriented and have the ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining an upbeat and positive attitude.
This position is based at ExactTarget headquarters in the historic Guaranty Building on downtown Indianapolis, Indiana?s bustling Monument Circle.
?Lead global payroll processing and related analysis.
?Assist Global Payroll Manager in guiding the daily activities of the payroll team.
?Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
?Manage PTO systems, processes, and reporting.
?Ensure employee leaves of absence and separations are properly processed and documented in the payroll systems.
?Answer ?tier 2? payroll and PTO-related employee questions in a timely manner.
?Ensure employee variable pay plans are properly documented in the payroll/HRIS system.
?Process payroll in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements.
?Coordinate general ledger reconciliations and journal entries related to payroll.
?Point of contact for international payroll vendors.
?Work closely with team members on payroll related HR Metrics and Reporting.
Requirements?Bachelor degree in human resources or business, or equivalent experience.
?CPP certification desired.
?Minimum of 4 years multi-state payroll processing experience. Global experience a plus.
?Knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
?Familiarity with web based HRIS applications. Ultimate Software preferred.
?Understanding and awareness of HR and benefits concepts.
?Ability to work in an evolving and dynamic environment.
?Strong organizational and time management skills.
?Some work outside U.S. business hours required to collaborate with payroll vendors in other time zones.
?Ability to prioritize and communicate effectively.
?Ability to handle sensitive and confidential business matters and information with discretion.
