Confluence is currently seeking a Global Sales Account Executive. This position exists to directly generate revenue by selling Confluence software solutions (Unity) and services to new clients in the Global marketplace through direct, face-to-face meetings. The Global Sales Account Executive is expected to consistently meet or exceed aggressive quarterly and annual revenue quotas.
?Build and maintain an active pipeline of qualified leads through cold calling, attending industry trade shows, providing product demonstrations, working leads from direct mail campaigns and other marketing campaigns.
?Develop and maintain detailed and updated opportunity matrices for each target account to insure that the appropriate sales support resources can be available and to assist in the preparation of accurate and timely sales forecasts.
?Aggressively work the pipeline to consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue quotas.
?Obtain the maximum sales and services revenue from each account and sales opportunity through recognition of broader needs that Unity can address and through the strongest possible adherence to approved pricing.
?Establish the best possible long-term relationship with each prospect so as to maximize future revenue opportunities including and especially meaningful business relationships with "C" level executives.
?Work within structure sales process to develop formal business cases based on the boilerplates provided by Confluence that includes an appropriate solution based on discussions with prospects.

Education and Skill Requirements
?Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems and/or equivalent experience required
?A minimum of 7 years enterprise software sales experience selling large Document Management, Financial Applications, Business Intelligence or General Application Software into the Financial Services vertical/industry banking relationships preferred.
?A minimum of 5 years of complex sophisticated solution selling with a sales cycle of 9-12 months or longer and average deal size in excess of $500,000 including significant license and services components.
?Extensive experience selling to multi-divisional, inter-agency teams and buyers (CEO, CIO, CFO, Managing Directors, Department Directors, etc.).
?Bi-lingual written and verbal communication skills would be an advantage though not a requirement.
?Technical Acumen ? understanding of basic IT concepts and overall familiarity with software platforms, databases and networks
?Exceptional communication and leadership skills
?Ability to craft business solutions to complex business problems
?Proven ability to establish strong relationships with both users and technical buyers
