Summary
In support of PlayNetwork sales goals, the position is responsible for the development of business relationships and sales of all Playnetwork products to a named list of accounts. Accounts in the named list will vary in size and will be deemed strategically relevant to Playnetwork?s Global sales initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following is a list of general job responsibilities for the Director, Global Media Sales. This list is not all-inclusive and may be broadened or changed to meet changing business needs.
?Manage the sales of multiple projects for all of PlayNetwork?s services (music and messaging, video media services, system design, and new media) from prospecting to implementation phase, insuring customer satisfaction.
?Qualify and develop sales leads with goal of increased portfolio value, market penetration and brand awareness.
?Responsible for attainment of sales quota
?Provide sales support and training as needed for international Playnetwork offices and VAR?s.
?Maintain, build and expand upon relationships with major key account decision makers and influencers, key contracting partners and key strategic alliance.
?Present products, services and technologies to potential clients while emphasizing the competitive advantages of PlayNetwork.
?Work in tandem with creative services, music and video producers, messaging coordinators, project managers, customer service and system designers to provide proposal, scope of work, and deliverables for each project
?Participate in bi-weekly sales calls and bi-annual sales meetings
?Provide ongoing activity, forecast and individual portfolio reports via Salesforce
?Manage individual P&L
?Problem Resolution
?Enhance personal development in areas of creative selling, technical knowledge, sales skills, marketplace trends and competitive analysis.
Territory: Director, Global Media Sales
?A list of target accounts will be named and provided.
oAccounts will primarily be western US and Asia Pacific headquartered brands
Experience/Education
?Minimum of seven (7) years experience in B2B media-related or subscription (recurring) sales
?Bachelor?s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred, but not required.
Required Skills and Abilities
?Understanding of digital media trends
?Proficient with MS Office
?CRM Experience (Salesforce preferred)
?Excellent organizational, human relations, presentation, and communication (verbal and written) skills
?Exceptional negotiation skills
?International experience is a plus
?Understanding of the multi-location consumer services business (retail, hospitality, etc.); how decisions are made, what the problems are, etc.
?Knowledge of digital media, music, and entertainment
?Able to complete objectives while utilizing an approach consistent with PlayNetwork?s Guiding Principles
?Adaptability for learning and change

Ability to travel overnight up to 70%. Some international travel required.
