Job Responsibilities
Successful Sales Operations support at DTS would drive focused cross functional execution in addressing clearly prioritized market opportunities. Furthermore, management would have a reliable dashboard solution measuring progress, risk and ongoing actions to drive sales growth. Metrics that would measure this outcome would be as follows:
?100% adoption of Sales force by all functions touching customers
?Clear prioritized list of top revenue opportunities with risk, current status, what success looks like and clarity around what is needed to close
?Close to 0 off-system email "noise" around what is needed to move opportunities
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
?Work with Business Development, Products and Platforms, Sales and Finance teams to support accurate business line forecasts
?Support the Global Sales Organization in adoption of the Sandler sales methodology
?Measure and report on the success of the sales process utilizing Salesforce.com CRM system
?Establish and implement policies and procedures to address data integrity issues
?Support, educate and train the Sales teams on proper usage of the Salesforce.com system
?Identify opportunities to improve processes and measure outcomes
?Quickly trouble shoot data integrity issues
?Establish and maintain effective working relationships with multiple internal and external constituencies
?Provide reports and presentations to management regarding sales activities as requested
?Assist in the development and execution of best practices around sales behavior and processes
?Liaise between Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Finance and Legal teams providing support and follow through as needed
?Serve as a central point of contact for general Sales support
?Work with sales teams to resolve minor issues and escalate as needed
?Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience
?Bachelors degree in Business or related study preferred
?2+ years of experience in a sales support or similar role or 6+ years experience in lieu of degree
?Previous experience with CRM tools and SalesForce in particular is highly desirable
Computer Skills:
?Must possess excellent computer skills
?In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint) a must
?Experience with SalesForce highly desirable
Other Skills & Abilities:
?Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to proof and edit.
?Strong teamwork and project-related skills.
?Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work with little supervision
