Since 2002 RightAnswers has grown by over 200% fueled by its unique offering which includes software, content and client success services delivered in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) Cloud offering. We are currently looking for an Application and Systems Support Tech to support our production systems and web applications for our US Government customers.
Requirements and Responsibilities
Setting up and organizing Windows systems used in our production, test and demo environments.
Maintaining servers ? monitoring, software security hot fixes, patches, etc.
Testing issues reported by customers in our web applications, verifying source of issues, escalating any defects, and pushing out product patches.
Simple web application debugging (Java environment) to identify application issues.
Designing and optimizing the system for performance and stability.
Provide technical support to our clients related to issues with our Cloud infrastructure via email and phone.
Good interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with diverse constituencies.
Job Specifications
Minimum Confidential Level 1 security clearance REQUIRED
3-5 years? experience with Windows servers.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and web application servers (IIS, Apache Tomcat).
Ability to read, trace and understand program code is a plus (for debugging purposes).
Strong organizational skills.
Understanding of networks, routers, TCP/IP, proxies, web security, etc.
Prior experience setting up and maintaining Cloud based applications in managed infrastructure
