ShapeUp is on a mission to make health social, and we are growing quickly as more organizations discover how social networking can transform health care. We are currently seeking a graphic design intern to work with our talented creative director and marketing team. As a member of the ShapeUp team, you will gain more real world graphic design experience at a faster pace than you will anywhere else. We?re a passionate, hyper-motivated team that puts forth our best efforts to create interesting, compelling, and beautiful marketing campaigns that generate quality leads for our sales team and engages participants in our program.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Coursework or experience in graphic design or related area preferred (You gotta have the skills we?re hiring for, you know?)-
Strong portfolio of collateral that includes print campaigns with posters and flyers and online campaigns involving web and email design (Seriously, you need to be an awesome, kick-ass designer for this job, no joke.)
Experience with Macintosh computers and experience with graphic design software such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, and others (You are an awesome, kick-ass designer, right? Then these are the easy requirements.)
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, etc. (The tough stuff, we know. You?ll be working in these programs from time to time. But fret not! For each minute spent in these programs, you?ll get 10 minutes in the newest Adobe CS.)
Strong judgment, decision-making and organizational skills a must (This isn?t any run of the mill internship. You?ll have shot calling authority.)
Ability to work under short deadlines and produce quality work quickly (We move fast. Keep up.)
Must be able to work well with a diverse team (You?ll interact frequently with our creative director, founder, and marketing team members. Play nicely and share frequently.)
-Must be able to provide a digital copy of current portfolio and pass a design test to be considered for the position.

This is a paid internship, and has the ability to be flexible according to your schedule.
This position will be located in our headquarters in Providence, RI.
