Graphic Design Specialist - User Experience BrandMuscle
Description
The User Experience Design Specialist (UEDS) is responsible for web design and graphic support for the sales and marketing process and to support new and existing client solutions. Performance objectives and day-to-day supervision are provided by a member of the team reporting to the Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing. The UEDS builds and delivers web-based prototypes and demonstrations of BrandMuscle software solutions. Other website skinning and graphical user interface (GUI) development will be required. This position also provides graphical prototypes for existing client site promotion and adoption materials and for presentations for all internal teams.
The UEDS is responsible for assisting with the visual representation of the various sales product demonstration web sites, and may be required to assist with the continued support and maintenance of the www.brandmuscle.com web site.
Under direct supervision, responsibilities of the UEDS include:
Rendering visually appealing and compelling demonstration/prototype applications that illustrate BrandMuscle's understanding of the prospect's business needs, while ensuring that a production version can be built within the BrandMuscle standard software architecture.
Developing storyboards for sales and marketing.
Providing web design, maintenance and support, including screen mock-ups
Providing web design guidance to other internal graphical resources.
Provide recommendations to the Product Development team for improvements to the product user interface.
Providing graphical support in the development of client case studies, client launch/adoption materials, best practices, collateral, and other marketing and client support materials.
Troubleshooting issues on current sites and applications
Researching new tools, enhancing and evolving prototypes.
Assisting with updates to the www.brandmuscle.com marketing website (PHP/HTML/Flash/CSS/JavaScript).
Potentially assist with development/transmission of e-blasts

Technical skill set:
Design:
Adobe Creative Suite 4-6 (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash)
Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word)
Adobe Acrobat
Web:
Coding/Web Languages (PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, XML, Dreamweaver)
Animated image development (Flash/alternatives to Flash for iPad compatibility)
Must be able to demonstrate previous web design experience
General skill set:
Strong design sense with demonstrated abilities in graphic and interactive design, motion graphics and GUI design
Ability to translate customer requests into demonstrable system functions
Diagnose, plan and implement fixes to web coding bugs or design flaws
Ability to adapt to constantly changing project requirements and schedules.
Ability to plan and manage your own work to meet deadlines
Eager to work on multiple teams and projects at the same time
Adaptable to multi-cultural communication and collaboration
Able to learn and apply new techniques just-in-time
Demonstrate a flexible, proactive, can do attitude with a strong sense of urgency
Knowledge of advertising and marketing a plus
Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience
2-4 years relevant graphic and web design experience.
