Do you love to create brands? Thrive on starting fresh with logo designs and assembling pantone palettes? If so, this job is not for you. Our designers work with existing college and university brands to create college recruitment campaign designs that make sense and deliver results. Our clients need help understanding and implementing their brands, and we need designers who can weed through the elements and get to the core. If you?re a graphic designer who loves to problem solve and consult, welcome home. A portfolio is required for consideration. A link to an online portfolio or a pdf sampling should be included with submissions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Designs and produces campaign materials (emails, web-based landing pages, direct mail)
Coordinates with project management staff, writers, printing vendors, and clients to implement campaigns and meet all project deadlines
Works in a team environment to improve EM Division products and procedures
Coordinates multiple projects and effectively manages time
QUALIFICATIONS: (include any physical requirements)
Education, Licenses/Certifications and Work Experience:
Required:
Bachelor?s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, a related field, or a portfolio that demonstrates equivalent training or experience
Eye for design, typography, photography, and color
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Flash)
Experience with Windows operating system and software (Word, Excel, etc.)
Superior verbal communication skills
Desire to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Ability to take direction and receive constructive criticism aimed at achieving results that will best benefit the client and company
Infrequent light physical effort required
Must be able to work in an environment where the noise level is moderate
Preferred:
Some professional experience or equivalent training is preferred
Experience with pre-press and print production
Knowledge of HTML/XHTML and CSS
Experience working in marketing or higher education
