Job DescriptionMaxPoint Interactive is looking for a graphic designer to work in our Morrisville, North Carolina, office. The designer will collaborate with our marketing and sales teams to develop engaging interactive and print designs that elevate our brand?s visual identity. The ideal candidate will have a sense of humor and an impeccable eye for design details, will enjoy working in a fast-paced work environment, and will stay on top of the latest design trends and developments.
Responsibilities
Design and develop traditional and interactive materials, including emails, landing pages, sales tools, display ads, infographics, and other creative.
Actively participate in the creative process, including whiteboarding, illustrating concepts by designing wireframes and comps, and advocating on behalf of design decisions
Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams on the creative development of interactive projects
Provide creative solutions to interactive issues
Understand HTML/CSS and troubleshoot code issues when necessary
Follow and enforce all MaxPoint design standards and guidelines
Ensure our brand story and message is consistent across all marketing communications
Manage projects from concept to completion
Assist in other marketing activities as needed
Stay abreast of industry, technology, web, and mobile design advances
Preferred Skills
Strong print and web design background
In-depth experience with the Adobe Creative Suite and other design solutions
Strong understanding of HTML/CSS
Portfolio that shows an understanding of user-centered design and interaction on the web
Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects
Ability to concept creative ideas and messages
Knowledge of print process and pre-press file setup
Comfortable learning and using new technologies, working on multiple deadline-driven projects at one time, interacting with clients, and collaborating within a team environment
Flexible and solution-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to process a vast amount of information and understand and prioritize competing business needs
Willingness to roll up his/her sleeves to get the work done or go the extra mile
Strong personal work ethic
Flexible personality and quick learner who operates with a sense of urgency
Qualifications
BA or BS with five years of design experience in an agency or corporate setting
