Athletes? Performance currently has an opening for a Graphic Designer who will be responsible for a wide range of marketing services: concept development, sales support, creative execution, stewardship of brand visual identity, internal initiatives, product development and ad hoc creative needs as part of the ?in-house? agency.
This individual will garner significant experience in a fast growing, entrepreneurial environment that requires propensity for action and an enthusiasm for helping people get healthier, perform at their best, and achieve more in life.
We are trailblazing a new category and are looking for results-driven and visionary Brand Messiahs across our Brand Marketing, Communications, and Creative Excellence & Marketing Services teams to be part of this ride in building our brand.
The position will report directly to the Director of Creative Excellence & Marketing Services.
Duties and Responsibilities (What does success look like?)
Design Lover, not a fighter: passion for design and up to the task of elevating creative excellence standards for how our brand comes to life across all stakeholder touch points. Maintain knowledge of design trends, creative excellence in marketing, and techniques with potential application to our brand.
There?s no ?i? in team, but a ?we? in awesome: work with cross functional teams to develop and execute programs, develop ideas, and share in the success of the team.
GID (Get It Done): wear many hats being responsible for ideating and implementing creative initiatives across the business: brand communications, sales collateral and support, editorial content, product development, and internal initiatives.
Art Direction: strong conceptual skills and design style to lead art design across company: presentations, marketing collateral, sales proposals, internal newsletters, and other work that reaches our key stakeholders.
Brand marketing strategy: ability to internalize and utilize brand strategy to shape the work.
Spin me a story: strong visual storytelling and communications skills to ensure brand proposition comes through consistently and in support of brand positioning.
Integrated Marketing Communications: drive consistent brand story and look & feel across all stakeholder touch points.
Sealed with a KISS: Exhibited skill of saying more with less as we try to adhere to the KISS principle.
Wind beneath my wings: inspire and lead others with your work ethic, business results, intrapersonal skills, and willingness to see success based on team accomplishments vs. your individual achievements.
Own it: take ownership of the project/task at hand from ideation to completion. Work with internal & external parties to clarify any questions, listen and address feedback, and be a champion of the work.
Keep a library card: manage a warehouse/library of creative content, video, photography, tools, and templates to allow for broader company access and efficiency vs. recreating the wheel each time.
Have standards: ensure all work delivers on the brief and meets the brand personality/visual identity standards.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Multi-lingual: ability to speak the multiple languages of Marketing, Sales, Product Innovation, and Creative. Contract and direct outside creative resources for photography, illustration, production ( as needed).
Strong project management skills.
Excellent communications, listening and storytelling skills
Strong strategic thinking, creative thinking, collaboration, and problem solving skills. Oh, and a great attitude is a must as well.
Results focused, with examples to prove it.
Organized and high attention to detail.
Passion for helping others achieve their goals.
Ability to adjust on the fly and thrive in an ever-changing environment.

Software proficiency: skilled at Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, AfterEffects, Acrobat, Microsoft Office.
5+ years of production and graphics design experience (agency and/or in-house)
Bachelor's Degree required
