Plateau is seeking an experienced Operations Business Analyst II Tech Writer to join our Hosting / SaaS Product Operations Team. Based out of our Headquarters in Arlington, VA. (across from Ballston Metro), you will have an integral part in shaping and documenting our Operational Processes and coordinating Security Compliance efforts. Job Duties include:
o Project Manage the creation and wholesale updating of key Data Center process and documentation.
o Rapidly develop a knowledge base on security & compliance regulations and offer guidance on daily processes to ensure they meet security requirements
o Support internal and external audit events affecting Product Operations, and coordinate pre-audit planning, testing, scheduling, and logistics to ensure audit success.
o Work closely both within Product Operations and across multiple external departments (Development, Professional Services, Technical Support, etc) to ensure accurate documentation and efficient processes flow engineering.
o Assist Management team with service level and quality metrics, industry benchmarks and continuous process improvement.
o Assist reporting Key Performance Indicators for Management Review.
o Responsible for reviewing and supporting Product / Data Center Operations policy implementation and ensuring that IT procedures are in place to satisfy internal policy and external regulatory objectives.
o Assist with gathering information during proposal efforts
Required Qualifications:
o Bachelors degree in Business Management or IT related field, or 8 years directly related experience
o Minimum of 4 years experience in IT project management, business analysis, creating technical documentation, or related Web Operations field.
o Excellent Technical and Process Documentation skills with the ability to rapidly gather requirements, identify sources, and swiftly move through the editing process to provide finished product
o Experience with Requirements gathering, process flow analysis and engineering
o Good understanding of functional IT processes, Web Architectures, IT Operations and Service Delivery
o Good project management skills in the areas of planning and assessing projects and business processes.
o Excellent client and personal relationship skills; enthusiastic, diligent, and pleasant attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
o Familiarity with some of the following IT standards: FISMA / NIST 800 series, SAS-70, PCI, ISO 2700x, ITILv3.
