Description:Plateau is seeking a talented and qualified Project Manager to work in our Global Services division for our Federal and Public sector Team. This position requires as much as 50 travel.
This person will be responsible for managing full life cycle implementation projects (business requirements, needs analysis, solution design, development, QA, implementation and support) of the Plateau software. Additionally, this person will have overall responsibility for managing the client relationship, scope of work to be performed, resource assignments, and other client issues during the course of the implementation.
Job Duties include:
o Project team management and status (both internal and client)
o Project plan development and tracking
o Client and staff status meeting facilitation
o Functional and technical analysis and supervision
o Quality Assurance
o Issue and budget management
o Development of Practice Management Standards and Tools
o Overseeing the scheduling/forecasting of resources
o Assisting in the development of other consultants
Required Qualifications:
o 3 years minimum software implementation project experience and/or project management experience (Big 5 experience preferred)
o 3 years minimum Project Management Experience
o Customer management skills, including diplomacy, clear communication style, and relationship development
o Ability to work with minimal direction
o Skill in oral presentations and written communication
o Skill in time management and in handling multiple priorities
o Skill in taking initiative within area of responsibility
o Skill in understanding interrelationships of work/project assignments and seeking coordination and integrating planning, decisions, and outcomes
o Skill in thoroughly carrying out, reviewing, and reporting on all aspects of the work
o Analytical and problem-solving skills
o Ability to handle customers effectively and a strong customer service orientation
o Ability to deal with complex customer service issues
o Mix of consulting and operational experience considered a plus
o Bachelors Degree
o Prior experience supporting U.S. Government customers required
o U.S Citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance required
o Experience with government regulations and compliance guidelines required, including but not limited to section 508 compliance
o Experience operating in a formalized software development structure preferred.
