We are seeking a senior level User Interface Engineer in Jersey City, New Jersey to join our Cloud-based eCommerce system team.Responsibilities:
Working with senior business executives and the development team to design our next generation of eCommerce financial system
Drive the design and user interface using Web 2.0 technologies and techniques
Lead the effect to create the overall UI including structure, navigation and theme
Conduct UI design sessions with input from business units and the technical team
Develop wireframes, technical prototypes and screens
Create reusable HTML templates and style sheets based on Web 2.0 UI standards and guidelines
Responsibilities:
5+ years experience designing complex web-based systems
Thorough understanding of overall UI design concepts and processes
Strong understanding of the user-centered design process
Ability to generate design concepts and expand them into a detailed design
Experience with generating UI prototypes, UI specifications, flow diagrams, and wireframes
Retail software product user interface design experience is a plus
Equity and equity derivative knowledge a plus
Ability to prototype with HTML, CSS and jQuery is a huge plus
High level of proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is desired
