We have an immediate opening for an associate mobile engineer within Workday Mobile, Workday's ground-breaking mobile development platform bringing mobile simplicity and touch-based function to the world of business software. â¢Â       Passionate about software development.
â¢Â       Must have a disciplined, methodical, minimalist approach to designing and constructing layered software components that can be embedded within larger frameworks or applications.
â¢Â       Experience in Object Oriented Design and Programming, proficient in applying common design patterns, ability to communicate design ideas effectively.
â¢Â       Proficient in major development tools and processes, such as source control, requirement spec, design and design review, unit test, system test, performance test, etc.
â¢Â       Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
â¢Â       BS in Computer Science or related fields.
â¢Â       Understanding of iOS with experience with Objective-C, Cocoa Touch and iOS Development
â¢Â       Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, object oriented design, and user experience fundamentals
â¢Â       Experience programming with the MVC / MVP pattern in a modern mobile application framework
â¢Â       Experience using modern version control systems
â¢Â       Able to professionally communicate with management, clients and coworkers on the phone, in email, and in person
Responsibilities:
â¢Â       Analyze the market place, competition and technology trends to bring innovative, out-of-the-box solutions to life.
â¢Â       Collaborate to prioritize and set direction of development efforts. Gather requirements to formulate appropriate architecture required to provide complete functionality ensuring high performance and strong user experience.
â¢Â       Contribute ideas for continually improving the teamâs productivity, job enjoyment, and code quality.
â¢Â       Research new technology and tools in our space to remain abreast of current and emerging technology. Propose and execute on research/prototype projects that introduce an innovative solution to new or existing problem.
â¢Â       Communicate cross multiple teams to show case new features and functionalities.
â¢Â       Have fun and be passionate!
