Reporting Structure:
Position Reports to the Senior Manager DBA in BLR.
Summary of Position:

Yodlee is looking for a highly skilled, highly motivated, and detail oriented individual to join our Operations team in building and supporting database solutions to continually scale our rapidly growing SaaS environment. Job responsibilities include:
Strong Experience in Cloudera Hadoop Administration.
- Implement new Hadoop hardware infrastructure
- OS integration and application installation
- HDFS support and maintenance
- Adding/Removing a Node, Data Rebalancing.
- Tuning map reduce jobs
- Partitioning of tables on Hive
- Dropping of parititions
- Installation of Hadoop
- Installation of Hive
- Installation of Sqoop
- Maintaining backups for name node
- Setup of standby name node
- Hadoop Upgrades
- Knowledge of Oracle DBA
- Hands on experience with opens source monitoring tools including; Nagios/Foglight and Ganglia
Qualifications:
- Degree in CS or equivalent with at least 1-2 Years of experience in Hadoop Administration.
- Experience in Cloudera Hadoop Administration
- Knowledge of Oracle DBA
Certification/Training:
Prefer to have CCAH certification.
Other Job-Related Requirements:
Expected that the candidate can make the daily commute to Bangalore office
Expected to be on call during production issues.
Expected to be comfortable working remotely and during Redwood Shores peak hours
