Opportunity: Hardware Certification Engineer
The Hardware Certification Engineer evaluates and certifies various in-room hardware configurations for use with the GetWellNetwork system. This position is responsible for identifying gaps between requested configurations and certified configurations as well as maintaining accurate documentation regarding completed evaluations and certifications. The Hardware Certification Engineer communicates regularly with implementation, sales, product and development teams.
Duties & Responsibilities
Procure (receive/return) and configure hardware/wiring configuration (TV, monitor, input devices, etc.) for evaluation
Evaluate requested configuration and document results
Troubleshoot identified issues
Work with engineers to determine additional development needs
Communicate with product management for development request evaluation/decision
Communicate with sales and implementation teams regarding required development and/or product decision
Update and maintain approved configuration and wiring diagrams
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Demonstrated organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written
2+ years related experience with hobby electronics
2+ years experience writing or maintaining software that uses RS-232 communication
2+ experience in the home theater business
