Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to design and development activities on new and existing embedded hardware, software design, and focus will be developing Verilog.
Essential functions
Design signal processing blocks in Verilog
Strong background with data communications
Experience with schematic entry and layout software
Design input.
Developing and releasing products to manufacturing
Assist other engineers in troubleshooting and analyzing board level issues
Work cooperatively on development projects
You will operate under minimal supervision, as an individual contributor working closely with senior hardware and firmware engineers.
This position reports to the Chief Scientist and will work under the technical supervision of the Lead HW Engineer.
Required Experience
3-5 years of design and development experience with Xilinx tools
Ability to analyze, test and debug digital design
Hands-on experience working with FPGA-based products
Ability to generate schematics and supervise layout work
Development of board-level and functional testing processes a plus
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
BSEE plus 5 year professional experience
BSEE and MSEE plus 3 years professional experience
