Hardware Design Qualification and Verification Engineer Exalt Communications
The engineer will be responsible for general test of advanced wireless networking systems for Microwave Backhaul and similar products. This individual will develop and perform manual and automated tests to verify new or updated product functions, product performance, and standards compliance. Evaluation of test results including a correct characterization of passing or failing test results are another important aspects of this job. As part of the HW DQV Team the individual will document test setups and results, as well as organize and store test data. The role will require a good grasp of digital and RF engineering to identify and define test parameters. Applicants should have at least an Associate of Science Degree in Electronics, a minimum of 5 years working experience as Design Verification and Test Engineer, and should be very familiar with RF test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power Meters, temperature chamber, etc. Experience in testing wireless protocols such as 802.11a/b/g/n or 802.16e, or LTE is a plus. | Location: | 580 Division Street Campbell, CA 95008 United States |
