We are currently seeking a Hardware Engineer who will design CDMA and LTE Base Stations by developing and testing electrical systems. The candidates will participate in the specification, design, development and testing of Base Stations utilizing the industry standards. The successful candidates should be effective at working independently and as part of a cross functional team. This position is based in Richardson, TX.Key Responsibilities:
Develops hardware modules for the Base Stations by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
Generates design specifications and technical documents as necessary.
Generates Schematics and PCB layout database by conforming design specifications.
Develops hardware and software modules for development and manufacturing support.
Tests and validates products in compliance with CDMA, LTE industry specifications, environment conditions, and electrical, mechanical interface specifications.
Participates in design and other milestone reviews.
Works with vendors in component selection and timely resolution of issues.
Follows up full life cycle of development including production release.
Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
Experience / Qualification / Key Skills / Attributes:
Strong background in CDMA and/or LTE related wireless hardware design knowledge.
Knowledge of high speed digital design and demonstrated experience.
Experience with complex microprocessor circuit design.
Experience with schematic drawing and PCB layout instruction.
Superior problem solving skills at not only board but also system level.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience with Agile, Product Lifecycle Management tool is beneficial.
Experience with radio frequency circuit design is beneficial
