Job DescriptionAs a HW Systems Intern you will analyze complex system situations and participate in systems troubleshooting. You will configure, install and maintain hardware/software systems in a lab and test environment. You will participate in system functionality and performance testing and evaluation and analysis of test results. You will develop and/or modify test and installation files/scripts. You will participate in the development of HW system and test documentation and assist in system evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
Assist/participate in design of demo systems and reference platforms for Audience?s products.
Participate in HW design (part selection, schematic capture, etc.)
Assist in audio tuning for best in class audio/voice quality.
Validate HW/SW and debug issues.
Participate in development and execution of test procedures.
Assist in evaluation and analysis of test results.
Participate in training activities related to demos and reference platforms

Experience, Skills and Education Required
Major in electrical engineering or engineering science.
GPA of 3.30/4.0 or higher
Knowledge/proficiency in the following:
Schematic capture (e.g. Orcad, Allegro, Mentor graphics Design Architect, etc)
Electrical digital and/or analog system design/analysis.
Hands-on electronic troubleshooting.
C/C++ or Matlab programming.
Experience, Skills and Education Desired
Familiarity in cellular wireless systems (mobile handsets, PND, or tablets)
Matlab Programming.
Embedded system experience/familiarity.
Familiarity with Microphones, Speakers, and audio DSP.
Acoustic knowledge
