As the Head of Ad Sales, you?ll be responsible for driving the demand generation strategy, closing new business with advertisers and ad agencies, and building BitTorrent's awareness and profile with key influencers in the digital and mobile advertising space. You?ll build sales efforts to generate demand across software, gaming, and other verticals and contribute to the company?s strategic goals.
Specific responsibilities include:
Strong hunter with strategic view to lead the growth and direction for monetizing BitTorrent's owned and operated properties
Develop strong customer acquisition plan that will achieve revenue goals, build a strong customer pipeline and meet KPI targets
Effectively communicate the benefits of a relationship with BitTorrent with major brands, agencies, and influencers, and represent BitTorrent at key industry events
Lead the sales team and take ownership to set up sales strategies and structure for the organization
Evaluate channel partners to help scale demand for display and install-path advertising offers
Analyze sales funnel statistics to determine business growth potential
Collaborate with PMM to create and update sales proposals, IO?s, and account reports
Maintain sales pipeline via our in-house CRM and contribute to other sales and operational process improvement efforts
Partner with Ad Ops and other internal groups to provide the best customer experience for our advertisers and deliver to monthly revenue goals
Recruit, manage, and develop a sales team from the ground up
Ideal candidates will possess a strong combination of the following experience:
7+ years of relevant sales management experience
Strong team leadership skills, able to motivate a sales team and work collaboratively with product and operations teams.
Great consultative sales skills, relationship building, external and internal customer satisfaction management.
Well-versed in display advertising categories (from performance to brand) and understanding of what inventory works for what advertisers, at what prices.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with good knowledge of advertising landscape across ad networks, DSPs, SSPs, programmatic and retargeting partners.
Results-oriented with the ability to perform under consistent pressure to meet deadlines
Deep experience in search, display, and affiliate advertising
Experience in working with app developers and software distribution is highly desired
Exceptional negotiation and deal management skills
Self-motivated and able to adapt to fast-changing technology environment
Bachelor's degree in Business, or equivalent work experience
