What you?ll do: As a top-notch Head of Digital Media Operations, you?ll run and scale our ad and email operations teams, including our ad trafficking, email, account management, yield management, client creative & client analytics functions. You?ll maximize revenue and profits in your sleep ? in a way that delivers ultimate value to our IT pros and advertisers. You?ll be perfectly at ease working across multiple departments and personalities from sales to product marketing to account management to (most importantly) our clients. You?ll also eat, drink and breathe ?the numbers? as you increase key metrics like eCPMS, sell-through rates, and CTRs. Oh, and let?s not forget that you?ll have a blast every step of the way with a team that?ll keep you on your toes 24/7!
Responsibilities: What will I do?
Ensure monthly and quarterly revenue delivery through engagement, traffic and inventory management
Maximize targeting, pacing, and frequency methodologies for killer ad performance
Seamlessly monitor and report on trends in performance metrics (i.e. CTRs, % sold, eCPMs, etc.)
Take the process reins to ensure smooth operation between trafficking, account management, sales and product marketing, and development
Determine what systems are needed to support our operations and guide their development and deployment
Stay on the forefront of industry trends and communicate implications, opportunities and action plans
Create systems/process that drive client renewals from successful engagements
Identify how our ad products and client services should evolve and opportunities for new products
Define optimal inventory allocation process
Build, train and mentor a growing team
Qualifications: What does it take to do this job?
5-10+ years? experience in online ad operations for a tech media or consumer internet company
Previous ownership of all or a portion of a $25 million+ online advertising operation
Proficient in DFP, ad trafficking, ad operations, and email operations
Multiple years? experience in leading optimization/scaling for online ad operations
Natural leader and team-builder
Deep analytic skills
Problem-solving chops and ability to find creative solutions
Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, high-growth environment
