Head of Marketing Zyme Solutions
Zyme Solutions is seeking a high-energy and talented enterprise solutions marketing executive to join its leadership team, as we scale to the next stage of our growth. The role will encompass traditional marketing functions across driving lead generation, company positioning and branding, with a strong customer emphasis: Giving voice to Zyme?s customers in their mission, and showcasing the value and impact of Zyme?s solutions at our customers. The person in this role needs to rapidly evolve to be an articulate spokesperson for Zyme?s product-market strategy, and the ROI and value of Zyme?s solutions. This role with report to the CEO of Zyme, and manage a growing team of marketing professionals and outside service vendors. The position will be located in the SF Bay Area.
Background and skills that we most care about in candidates for this role:
10+ years of marketing leadership experience with a successful track record of enterprise solutions marketing with a well-formed end-to-end view of how to drive market adoption and increase influence with measurable impact to revenues in the short (3 month) and long (18 month) horizons.
Understanding of paths to market and key influence points in selling software-based, SaaS model solutions to 100s of large enterprises (versus 10,000 smaller businesses)
Experience building marketing functions in non-bubble eras with well-articulated strategies for achieving high impact and results with constrained budgets.
Ability to do a lot with a little ? able to creatively triage of opportunities to spend money to focus on those areas with the highest and most measureable impact.
Good intuition for and pattern recognition of ecosystem of solutions in the front-office of large manufacturing enterprises ? CRM, PRM, Sales management systems, sales and incentive compensation, demand forecasting, order management, channel management
Understanding of the technology vertical and indirect channel solutions is a bonus, but not a replacement for deep skills and experience in enterprise solutions marketing at growth companies.
Proven track record of recruiting, developing, managing and mentoring a well-performing team of marketing professionals
Extensive network of marketing services providers/contractors
BA/BS degree or equivalent (MBA is a plus)
