The Head of Mobile Products is responsible for sourcing new mobile publishers/content providers to expand BlueCava?s mobile inventory and for developing product offerings with partners, creatively sourcing new customer opportunities for the Audience On-Boarding core business and interfacing internally with the development team. Will be strong in adtech, data and mobile. Will vet partnership opportunities with economics and value proposition in mind. You will most likely come from a mobile measurement, a DSP or a mobile ad network.
Define mobile products
interface with development team on customer requirements
Identify appropriate customer prospects (networks, ,exchanges, and direct publishers) and initiate relationship
Develop strategic relationships with organizations that are natural mobile targets
Initiate cold calls to prospective publishers, networks, and exchanges
Advocate BlueCava?s proprietary technology and services to both new and existing mobile content providers, and feel comfortable pitching to all different levels of contacts
Competitor and market analysis
Uncover new business and upsell/cross sell revenue opportunities and help to model them for success.
Competitive marketplace analysis
Understanding of mobile advertising industry product, technology, and economics
Experience establishing partnerships
understanding of the mobile advertising value chain- where mobile data is used, how it is used
Experience working with networks and publishers and working knowledge of exchanges and DSPs
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong analytical skills
Track record of setting and achieving success metrics
Entrepreneurial, action-oriented individual who can accomplish goals from start to finish
Proactive, driven, and looking for fast-paced challenging environment
Network of contacts in the web publishing business is a 'big' plus
Knowledge of data technology, mobile and wireless ad platforms, ad networks and real-time bidding environments
Extremely organized and highly motivated.
Understanding of the overall media and measurement/analytics landscape, online advertising and marketing trends.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment.
